Will work with Facility Information Systems and Health Information Management to extract the data necessary to perform ongoing analysis of all account-based, reimbursement transactions for accuracy. Contact insurance companies to have adjustments processed if payments are not in accordance with the contract. Will accelerate appeals of denied claims and assist with the development of an auditing/tracking system for efficient claim management. UTILIZATION REVIEW COORDINATOR - Full Time
Will be responsible for assessing, monitoring and evaluating services required to meet an individuals healthcare needs; appropriate setting and discharge planning. Perform admission review as well as concurrent review for Medicaid, Workers Compensation, BCBS State of MS employees, and all other commercial insurance companies.  Review records utilizing InterQual criteria.  Prefer previous experience. Knowledge of coding conventions and how it relates to insurance. Must have thorough knowledge of medical records terminology and typing skills.  Must be able to interpret clinical information. Credentialed Healthcare Professional (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, Registered Nurse or credential eligible) preferred. Prefer previous experience in utilization management. Must maintain CE hours. (5/16/22)
WARD CLERK - MEDICAL INPATIENT SURGERY - Full Time

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience as a ward clerk or have attended a ward clerk class is preferred. Clerical experience required. Good interpersonal skills in communicating with patients and staff required. Will also be responsible for collecting and transporting lab samples and transportation of patients to other units within the hospital. Hours will vary. (2/3/22)

SWIM INSTRUCTOR - WELLNESS CENTER - PRN

Must be American Red Cross certified water safety instructor able to teach youth and adult swimming lessons. Must have prior experience teaching swimming lessons. Position includes teaching responsibilities during the week in the summer. Shift and hours will vary. (4/25/22)

 

DISHWASHER - DIETARY - Full Time

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Experience preferred. 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays.
