We offer a wide variety of health, exercise and special interest programs and services, in addition to traditional weight and cardiovascular training equipment, aerobics classes and circuit training.  Whether it’s through exercise, relaxation, weight-loss, learning new skills or developing new hobbies, our staff of experts is ready and willing to help you meet your goals!

A variety of classes are taught by certified instructors on an air-cushioned wooden floor. Schedules are available at the reception desk to help you determine which classes best fit your needs.

Aerobics Schedule & Class Descriptions

A variety of specialized machines are available to help you improve cardiovascular fitness and lose weight. Equipment includes treadmills, bicycles, stairclimbers, cross trainers, rowers, cross country ski machines, arm ergometers, and Crossrobics LEs, just to name a few. While exercising, you can enjoy watching your favorite television program provided by the wireless "Cardio-theater."

A licensed children's activity center offers indoor and outdoor play areas for children two months to 14 years. For a minimal fee, members can leave children in the activity center for up to two hours while working out. The Wellness Connection at OCH Regional Medical Center is designed to fit your every fitness need. For a minimal fee, a full fitness assessment is given to new members, measuring weight, body fat, heart rate, blood pressure, flexibility, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. In addition, a blood chemistry test profiles cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose and HDL levels. Upon completion of the fitness evaluation, members receive a computerized profile and individual consultation to assist in the development of a fitness program to meet their needs. All members receive this personal attention, as well as orientation to the facility and equipment upon joining.

The three-lane, heated indoor pool gives members fun and exciting options - water aerobics, water walking, swimming instruction, and lap swimming, to name a few. The hydrotherapy pool, heated at a higher temperature than the lap pool, provides deep-water fitness and warm-water therapy options.

Aquatic Schedule & Class Descriptions 

Men’s and women’s locker rooms are equipped with two sizes of lockers, which may be used daily or rented semi-annually or annually, as well as spacious showers with steam capability, a sauna and free towel service.  They also feature a special machine for extracting excess water from swimsuits.  A separate area, furnished with tables, chairs, nutritional snacks and beverages, provides members a place to relax and visit while enjoying a view of fitness activities.


Much more than just a back rub, massage therapy can help relieve the physical effects of stress, specific areas of pain or tension in the body, as well as speed the recovery process from certain injuries.  Certified therapists are available to give full-body and sports massage in 30-minute or one-hour sessions.  Call 323-WELL (9355) to schedule an appointment and watch your stress and/or pain melt away.

The Wellness Connection’s certified personal trainers provide one-on-one instruction to help you achieve and/or maintain your ideal fitness level.  Personal trainers add focus and direction to your workout regimen by designing an exercise program specifically for your goals, monitoring your progress, providing motivation and helping you work out safely and effectively.  All Wellness Connection personal trainers hold a degree in exercise physiology, fitness management or kinesiology or certification from the American College of Sports Medicine or other such professional organization; many have both.

*5, 10 and 20 session packages, as well as at-home training and small group training rates are also available. Inquire at the front desk.

A three-lane indoor synthetic rubber track surrounds the weight and cardiovascular area and is available to walkers and joggers.

Our more than 30 machine weights and 15 free weight stations are state-of-the-art brand names, available to help you tone and shape up or strengthen and build muscles.
