Safe SitterĀ® Course Registration
Weāre excited to announce the next Safe SitterĀ® course will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Baptist Memorial HospitalāOktibbeha County.
Location: Community Room
Time: 9:00 a.m. ā 3:30 p.m.
Led by Certified Safe Sitter Instructors, this course equips students with essential skills to stay safe when home alone, caring for younger siblings, or babysitting. Topics include emergency response, choking rescue for infants and children, basic first aid, and how to manage babysitting as a business.
Who Should Attend
Safe SitterĀ® is designed for students in grades 6ā8.
Registration Details
To reserve your studentās spot, parents or guardians must complete both steps below:
Step 1: Complete and submit the online reservation form below.
Step 2: Click HERE to complete the official Safe Sitter student registration form.
Once step 2 is completed, save the form as a PDF and email it to Audra.Gines@BMHCC.org.
Both steps are required to finalize registration.
You will receive:
- An automatic confirmation email after submitting the online form, and
- A separate confirmation email from Ms. Gines once the completed student registration form is received.
BMH-OC Safe Sitter Student Registration Course Form:
Safe Sitter: We are now taking reservations for the upcoming Safe Sitter class which will be held Thursday, June 4th, 2026.
Safe SitterĀ® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when theyāre home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Due to social distancing efforts, class size will be limited. After completing this reservation form, you will receive a confirmation email with a registration form and additional information. The course will be held in the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County (BMH-OC) Community Room.

Cost
Class fee: $40
This includes the Safe SitterĀ® student manual, babysitting essentials, and lunch for the day. Payment can be made by cash or check. Checks can be mailed or brought in the day of.
