Safe SitterĀ® Course Registration

We’re excited to announce the next Safe SitterĀ® course will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Oktibbeha County.

Location: Community Room
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Led by Certified Safe Sitter Instructors, this course equips students with essential skills to stay safe when home alone, caring for younger siblings, or babysitting. Topics include emergency response, choking rescue for infants and children, basic first aid, and how to manage babysitting as a business.

Who Should Attend

Safe SitterĀ® is designed for students in grades 6–8.

Registration Details

To reserve your student’s spot, parents or guardians must complete both steps below:

Step 1: Complete and submit the online reservation form below.
Step 2: Click HERE to complete the official Safe Sitter student registration form.

Once step 2 is completed, save the form as a PDF and email it to Audra.Gines@BMHCC.org.

Both steps are required to finalize registration.

You will receive:

  • An automatic confirmation email after submitting the online form, and
  • A separate confirmation email from Ms. Gines once the completed student registration form is received.

Class fee: $38
This includes the Safe SitterĀ® student manual, babysitting essentials, and lunch for the day. Payment can be made by cash or check. Checks can be mailed or brought in the day of.
