OCH Regional Medical Center is proud to welcome two additional urologists to its medical staff, expanding access to the specialty service locally. Dr. Jordan Windham and Dr. Sarah Rentrop are now accepting new patients at Starkville Urology and will perform surgeries and procedures at OCH.
“We are excited that Drs. Windham and Rentrop have chosen to join our medical staff at OCH and make Starkville their home,” said OCH Chief of Staff and Anesthesiologist Dr. Will Carter, adding that these two new additions will expand the excellent urology care provided at OCH as they join Dr. Gordon Castleberry. “OCH has been able to recruit strong, young physicians to maintain the level of care established by its current staff. Drs. Windham and Rentrop are the most recent example of this and will fit in nicely to our culture here at OCH,” stated Dr. Carter.
Common urologic conditions and diseases treated include:
• Kidney stones
• Enlarged prostate
• Overactive bladder
• Pelvic pain syndrome
• Recurrent urinary tract infections
• Urinary incontinence
• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Urologic malignancies
• Prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers
• Erectile dysfunction
In addition to treating these conditions and diseases, Dr. Windham and Dr. Rentrop both perform vasectomies and treat genitourinary cancer.
“We are excited to join the team at OCH and make Starkville our home,” said Dr. Windham. “Being able to join an established practice at Starkville Urology and be affiliated with a hospital that offers so much to its community is an incredible opportunity. We look forward to getting to know our patients and expanding access to urologic care in this area.”
Board-certified in urology, Dr. Windham specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgeries of the genitourinary system and the diagnosis and management of urologic cancers of the prostate, kidney, testicles and bladder. He has additional expertise in the treatment of prostatic enlargement, kidney stones, men’s health and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Windham earned his medical degree from the University Of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2013, where he also completed a general surgery internship and urology residency and has most recently practiced in Oxford for the past two years.

After earning her medical degree in 2015 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Shreveport, Dr. Rentrop completed a general surgery internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center before completing her urology residency at UMMC this summer.
“As urologists, we are able to help patients at all stages of their lives,” said Dr. Rentrop. “Connecting with our
patients and treating their urologic conditions, whether it is through medicine, physical therapy, or a surgical procedure, is rewarding. I enjoy working with the patient to find treatment options that work for them. The best part of my job is the ability to improve someone’s quality of life,” continued Dr. Rentrop.
A native of Lake Charles, LA, Dr. Rentrop enjoys reading and exercising. Dr. Windham is from Rolling Fork, MS, where he learned to love hunting and watching college sports. During their free time, they enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
